A thorough update of finishes and subtle alterations was required, whilst retaining existing retro elements from the original 1970’s design of the apartment which the client loved.

Heavy timber bulkheads were removed and the exposed brick, bright coloured floor tiles in the kitchen and bathroom remained.

New entry design, kitchen and bathroom along with new lighting which mixed well with existing furniture.

Colours were kept predominantly to black and white and used with timber panelling and bright glazed ceramic tiles.

The furniture is existing with some updated cushions on the sofa. The lounge is large and deep and enjoyed by all for its generous size.  A colourful deer head makes a striking entrance piece by resident artist, Colin Hyett.
