Airstream travel trailers have become an American icon since the 1930’s. They are as fabulous on the inside as they are on the outside.

It was imported from the US, restored in Melbourne, and was meticulously updated.  Many of the unique and original fixtures and fittings have been preserved and maintained.

The brief was to update everything with function and practicality being important but with a sense of fun, comfort and ease for summer living. It was to host summer drinks and an overflow of children sleeping over.

Hard wearing black and white checkerboard flooring was installed. Colourful, patterned, and fun fabrics were chosen for upholstery seat and cushions fabrics. A custom fabric was made especially for the curtains, textured vinyl wallpaper wraps the cupboards and vintage retro objects sourced to complete the vibe.
