The focus of this renovation was to create an open light filled casual kitchen and living space with clean crisp lines and quality finishes.

Joinery was kept simple and streamlined in design and white shades used throughout in paint and stone finishes.

The client has a love of a ‘good designer sofa’ and new furniture and pieces were ordered, and existing sofas recovered for comfort and quality.

Door and windows were removed, and spaces open up. Large steel framed sliding doors were inserted with flowing sheers filtering the expanse of natural sunlight streaming through.

Existing floorboards throughout the house were sanded and double limed. This gives the spaces a lighter feel and is more uniform when the new part of the house meets with the old.
